Looking for drummer for heavy 60s/70s rock tribute

Description

Looking for a drummer who can play heavy and jazzy like the old English blues/rock drummers. Jerry Shirley, Ian Paice, John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Jim Cox, Ginger Baker, Mick Fleetwood, etc. I am a veteran guitarist/singer, and I'm starting a heavy 70s classic/blues rock tribute. Hendrix, Trower, Humble Pie, Led Zeppelin, James Gang, Peter Green, etc. This will be a "themed" group with logo and an appropriate image, and the goal is to play clubs and festivals regionally. I would like to basically do the "70s version" of all the 50s 60s and 80s themed bands out there. It will be handled professionally and you will be paid for gigs. I have access to rehearsal space and PA and will never ask my band for any money to cover expenses beyond your own gear and transportation. I need someone who can keep up, with solid timing but knows how to lay it in the pocket. You must know musical language so that we can communicate when working out songs. No slackers, druggers or drunks. You must be available for gigs. I would prefer someone who can sing backup, so as not to limit the songs we can do. This is a serious endeavor, but I'd also like it to be fun for all. I don't mind a little 420 and a beer, but if you need to get hammered or lit up at rehearsals or at gigs, please look elsewhere. I've seen my share of it. Yes, it's a startup, but I'm older and experienced and know the ropes. Racist/homophobic/rightwing gasbags need not apply. Where there's show business, there is diversity. Love it or leave it. Thanks for looking.
