Join our growing small team! We're currently hiring a heavy equipment operator. This specific operator is that for a road side brusher/masticator. These are mounted on a New Holland or Kubota Tractors, and John Deere 690 Excavators. This position is not limited to road side brushing/masticating work. We highly prefer someone with this experience, but not absolutely required. We’re willing to train the right person. This operator will have the opportunity to run different kind of equipment depending on project. Including: CAT 312F CAT D6K CAT D7 Kubota GX6 CAT 126 Grader JD 690 JD 5 Among other equipment. This operator must have a valid drivers license with no restrictions. Specific equipment training will be provided, but experience in Forestry equipment is highly required. Our team is young, but driven. We will provide a company vehicle with fuel cards that the operator will be able to take home. Our shop is in Sweet home, but operator may live anywhere in the cascades/willamette since work requires a lot of traveling. After training and probation, operator will be able to choose their own schedule depending on project. Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday or whatever combination of schedule. 40+ hours a week. During summer expect to work 50+ hours, no lack of over time hours. Company Health Insurance 100% paid AFLAC accidental insurance Paid holidays, Paid time off (After probation.) We also run Log trucks and Dump trucks, the company will pay 100% of training and cost for a CDL license if the operator wishes. We will also increase wages according to type of CDL driving.
