Looking for Butch the Geologist

I am trying to find an old friend who I worked with in the mid 1980's. His name was Butch and he worked as a geologist for the Lithium Corp. mine near Bessemer City. He had a master's degree in Earth Science from NC State. His wife also had a geology degree from NC State (I think they met there). He and his wife lived in Cherryville in the 1980's Butch was about 30 years old in 1984, which would make him about 66 now.
