Description
10 mo old un-neutered male. Approximaetly 50 lbs. Needs active lifestyle. Needs HIS person! I have only had him about 7 weeks. Actually purchased him from someone on Craigslist for a lot of money. However, money is not the issue. I am willing to give him to the right person. I have found that he attaches himself to one person. I have a disabled son and he's not as comfortable with him as he is with me. I know some of his background with the previous owner, but not everything, which I'm happy to share. I have a broken ankle and cannot care for both him and my disabled son who is wheelchair bound. I definitely will be transparent with anyone who is interested but will not let him go to just anyone. Your lifestyle and household will be a factor. No money nor re-homing fees which are recommended. I prefer to have a conversation and go from there. He's protective of his property. I did have him evaluated by a reputable trainer in Albuquerque and she indicated that he is just not a good match for our family. I can share what the previous owners shared and what I've experienced with our time with him. I honestly believe he would make someone a great companion but I also feel that, that person must have experience in training. He is housebroken, crate trained, knows several commands, treat driven, likes to ride in the vehicle, stays by your side, knows outside (will nudge you when he needs to go out) likes certain cartoons and animal shows on TV lol., no, lay down. He's very smart and trainable but again protective and could be considered aggressive to some. He does not like strangers coming in but will calm down after a few minutes and knows it's ok with you. I would not recommend around children only because I do not know how he would be. He's very loyal so if you are able to work with him, get him neutered and can spend quality time just with him he will be a great dog. I will send food, treats, toys and bed with him along with his Cabela harness. He needs work on the leash. I will be very transparent about him so you can make an informed decision. Plus, if need be the trainer we saw said she is willing to give a one time training lesson if someone would want it, in order to give him a good start in a new home. We care about him and will go the extra mile to get him the right home. PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! PLEASE text me with your name and number or any questions and I will call you back or text you back. Thank you so very much. I hope someone out there is willing to give him a chance. HE DESERVES A FOREVER HOME. Thank you
