Description

I hate to have to post this. A few years ago I fell in love with snakes. I started with 2 Ball Pythons Udon (5 y/o) and Kitten (8y/o) and cared for them well. Then a friend of mine suggested me based on that care to a friend who was looking to rehome her Hog Island Boa, Ophelia. I loved taking care of these animals. But slowly, over time I began to fall in love with their food, rats. The ball pythons have always been live fed, and despite my numerous attempts won't eat frozen thawed. Emotionally it is getting very difficult to continue giving them live food, and when one doesn't eat, caring for that rat for a couple weeks till it will be eaten wrenches on my heart. On top of that, live rats have become harder to source since we moved to the country. My round trips to get live rats are 50 miles and sometimes they aren't available when I get there. So I'm looking to rehome my 2 Ball pythons. There is no rehome fee HOWEVER I do have a large enclosure project that I was never able to finish that I would prefer they go with and will cost some money. - $250. It is a 4'×6'×2' deep double enclosure terrestrial unit that needs one more radiant heat panel (rhp) to be useable. They will come with what was to be their temporary enclosures to get you by as well as heat mats, thermostats, hydrometers, basically everything else you will need. A RHP will cost around $100. These are very docile snakes, have never bitten anyone. Kitten is a big chonky girl and a bit head shy but Udon has been well handled (unfortunately he has some scars from burns from a previous owner.) If you're interested please email me. I am more than willing to help you if you are a first time snake owner. I just cannot do the live feeding anymore. These snakes must go as a pair with their large double enclosure. You will need some muscley help to transport it and a pickup truck in the least.
