Alison, I know it's highly unlikely that you'll ever see this. Your information is online and I could easily contact you directly, but that just seems kind of weird and intrusive of me. After all, it's been so many years and I have no idea what your personal life is like. I just think about you from time to time, and it would be nice to reconnect as friends. The last time we saw each other was post-breakup, and we went to the movies together in Palo Alto. Afterwards, I complimented you on your new hairstyle and said that it reminded me of a certain TV actress. I also told you that I still wanted to remain friends. For one reason or another, that didn't happen, but I've always regretted it. I don't know... maybe posting this is actually weirder than just reaching out directly to say hello. I guess I'll give this a try for a bit and see how it goes, but I know it's a long shot.
