This 1 hour history based tour seeks to uncover the myths, and debunk any misconceptions you might have about the Salem Witch Trials. The Salem Witch Trials happened over 300 years ago, and it has been dramatized in books, movies, documentaries, and even TV shows. Over the years it has been presented so many times in so many ways that some of the real history gets lost. This tour seeks to uncover the myths, and debunk any misconceptions you might have about the Salem Witch Trials. This walking tour lasts approximately 1 hour, and travels 1 mile around downtown Salem, including stops at the Witch Trials Memorial, and the location of the original 17th century jail.  Due to the new Massachusetts regulations we will be instituting these new rules and guidelines . Please note that the current state capacity for guided walking tours is greatly reduced so we cannot book groups larger than 15 people at this time, there are no exceptions. PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF SALEM: All persons shall wear a facial covering over their mouth and nose when in public between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:00 AM within the boundaries of the City of Salem downtown B-5 District. The only exceptions include children under the age of 2 and those unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition. FAQs How long is the tour and where does it go? The tour lasts 1 hour, and travels 1 mile around downtown Salem. Where does this tour leave from? All tours leave from in front of the Salem Armory Visitor Center at 2 New Liberty Street.  Do I have to bring my printed ticket? No, just provide the name you used to order the tickets and the number of tickets you purchased. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Not entirely, a few of the areas that the tour goes are uneven, narrow, or dirt paths that are not easily navigated with wheelchairs or motorized scooters.
