You are invited to join the Twin Forks Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society on July 10th, 2021, as we journey to Honesdale, PA *For those of you who are interested, at 6 AM we will give a short guided tour of our railroad restoration site, located opposite the Riverhead Railroad Station. *Then at 7 AM we board our bus. We will make one stop at the Ronkonkoma Railroad Station, and then we are off to ride the train in Pennsylvania. *You will ride in comfort in a fully air-conditioned coach with video entertainment and restrooms. **We will require everyone to wear masks or a face covering, and hand sanitizer will be available at all times. The coach will be sanitized and deep cleaned before our departure. *We will provide a stop along the route to grab a bite to eat and stretch our legs. The cost of this enjoyable day trip is just $85, which includes your coach transportation and your train ticket at the Stourbridge Line Railroad. 2021 is our 25th year as a Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. We thought it would be a nice idea to celebrate by having a day in the country and to bring back the nostalgia of the bygone era of railroading by riding vintage railway equipment.
