On Saturday, May 22nd, join us for an afternoon of flower arranging with Flower Girl NYC and leave with a unique arrangement. On Saturday, May 22nd from 3PM to 5PM, join us in the She Gone Clubhouse at the Refinery Hotel for a special flower arranging workshop with Flower Girl NYC. Native New Yorker Denise Porcaro founded Flower Girl in 2004. Building on a background in production design for film, Porcaro found a creative outlet in designing striking and unique flower arrangement and bouquets. Since then, Flower Girl has gone on to work with a myriad of fashionable clientele, including Vogue, Chanel, Proenza Schouler and Marc Jacobs, as well as collaborations with companies such as Liberty of London, Gap, Coach and Space 98. On May 22nd, Flower Girl NYC will be teaching attendees how to choose, condition and arrange flowers with the complements of sips, snacks and socialization! Flowers are inspired by a seasonal story. The end-product will be a hybrid mix of dry, preserved and fresh elements in a chic vase. With this collection, you'll still have the beautiful dried elements even after the fresh blooms fade. The hour long flower arranging class will be followed by champagne at the Refinery Roofdeck - what better way to enjoy an afternoon in the city!
