2021 SoCal Next Steps in Mission Theme: Biblical Hospitality Mission: To inspire, train and mobilize lay people in mission by giving them skills and practice in exercising their spiritual gifts in relationship to seekers and through community development habits and practices. In practical effect, we are helping to form everyday missionaries of church members and cultivating a church culture where everyday mission is commonplace. Goals: 1. Engage with the clergy and lay leaders as a primary focus for addressing missionality in the Local Church. 2. Inspire through engaging worship and training in skills development. 3. Build relationships among church members across the Deanery. 4. Support those who are actively discipling seekers as a primary focus of their ministry. Outline of the Day: 8:00am Breakfast Fellowship 8:30am Worship 9:30am Plenary Session on Biblical Hospitality 12:00pm Midday Prayer 12:15pm Lunch 12:30pm LA Deanery Annual Meeting 1:30pm Praise Him, Give Thanks and Go in Peace
