We have newly born baby Prairie Dogs for sale. These little guys were just born this spring of 2021, and ready to go to their new homes. Cost is $250.00 each. Please email or call if interested. More information below: Prairie dogs are very loveable and affectionate pets. In captivity, prairie dogs have an 8-10 year lifespan. They love lots of attention, and to freely roam of outside of their cage to exercise and play. They are housed in a standard cage similar to what would be used for a ferret. Prairie dogs eat mostly grass and should have a high fiber diet. Hay, notably timothy, blue grass, or oat hay should comprise the bulk of the diet. Fresh grass and greens should also be added. Puppy Chow Dog Food, Sweet Potato, Apple, and Carrots can also supplement the diet. Keep water available at all times and provide plenty of items for them to chew on, as it is essential that they keep their teeth filed down.
