A weekend to enjoy & join in on the artistic works inspired by our African Culture. FOOD, MUSIC, Fashion, ART WALL , Brunch.. & more Juneteenth Fashion Weekend as a whole is about embracing our culture and acknowledging the Growth, achievements, and impact of our African American People, while celebrating the holiday of our Freedom from Slavery in the United States. It is a time for reflection, assessment, self-improvement and for planning the future. DAY 1 JUNE 18th 2021 : ART IN THE PARK this event is the first day of physical activities to kick off the weekend of Juneteenth. we want to showcase the beauty of our creativity and love for the arts. there will be a variety of booths displaying this ad well as a ticketed paint party for attendees to paint a pre-sketched Canvas . on the Main Lawn there will be a large graffiti wall for all attendees to have a chance to add their special touch. a name, a piece of art, hand print... etc we will not have a shortage of food, music, and cultural visuals to stimulate our grateful spirit of FREEDOM ! DAY 2 JUNE 19th 2021 : BEAT THE STREETS JTFW Festival This event is all about embracing the positive things of our culture and community. Stepping away from Drugs and violence and focusing on the advancement of our community and youth. Music Water activities, vendors and Fashion contest. We would love to see everyone in their beautiful African attire. There will be two contest during the day of events for best dressed that will be judged and receive a award from JTFW. there will be plenty of photo moments and photo booths so come ready to REPRESENT !! DAY 3 JUNE 20th 2021 : Sunday Brunch and EXPO the Last Day of the weekend of Events, We start at 11am with an amazing Brunch for all of the Guest. a full menu is available for your choosing at our gourmet buffet, with both regular and virgin Mimosas. with a panel of 3-4 speakers soon to be announced May 8th. After the brunch and refreshment of motivational speaking, we will open up to the expo at the same location full of line up of Black owned businesses., where you will get to learn from and interact with the vendors and event hosts.
