Description
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Two men were arrested Thursday night after a single shot was fired inside the Margaritas restaurant along Cochituate Road in Framingham.
Police went to the restaurant just after 9 p.m., and inside found a 35-year-old man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The shooter fled the restaurant in a car. Witnesses gave police a description of the car and where it went. Framingham police pulled the car over along westbound Route 30.
Police arrested Cameron Dulmaine, 22, of Northbridge, on a charge of possession of a loaded gun without a license. Patrick Riley, 30, of Framingham, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded gun without a license and firing a gun within 500 feet of a building. Framingham police also recovered a 9mm handgun from the car Riley was riding in.
The last major shooting in Framingham happened in January 2020. James Wade, 24, and his 45-father James "Manny" Wade, 45, were shot and killed along Second Street. Aneudy Torres, 39, was arrested in charged in that double-murder.
