The discussion will center on Bittman's new book “Animal, Vegetable, Junk: A History of Food, from Sustainable to Suicidal.” Bittman, a former New York Times food columnist, is the author of 30 books on cooking, and eating.
Farming Falmouth is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening local food resilience. The all-volunteer group's projects include the cultivation of a pick-your-own community orchard, supporting community gardens, and Share Your Bounty, a program to collect locally-grown fresh produce for families in need.
