Requirements for Cable Installation Technician - Contractor: • 1-2 years experience as a Cable Installation Technician Subcontractor Preferred, will train the right person • Pass a background check and drug test • Own a work ready and presentable Pick Up Truck, SUV • Have your own tools • Be able to independently manage day-to-day functions as a Cable Installation Technician • Must have a current Driver’s License with no major violations (DUI, Fines in last 5 yrs.) Benefits for Contractors • Potential earning $1,000 to $1,800 a week • Paid Weekly • Work independently, long term steady work • Small crews are welcome in, Corp prices are available Responsibilities • Install voice, data, internet and TV; terminate cables and Coax connectors • Performs upgrades, downgrades, installations • Educates customers regarding their existing and new services and installs drops, outlets, converters, cable modems and other cable devices • Measures, records and determines cable signals • Prepares for daily work assignment by requisitioning equipment and supplies from warehouse and stocking vehicle as needed
