Building block for advanced skills and used for getting over roots and rocks with ease. ABOUT THE CLINIC: Are you ready to start getting your wheels off the ground? Would you like to get over rocks and roots in the trail more easily? Join our women's wheel lift clinic and learn how! Wheel lifts are a great building block to learning advanced skills like manuals and wheelie, and are a great skill for getting over rocks and roots on the trail and up onto curbs. During the clinic we will cover how to perform front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts, manual wheel lifts, pedal punch lifts and level lifts. You'll even learn a wheel lift techniqe for getting over roots while climbing! This is an advanced beginner/intermediate clinic. Participants should have basic bike handling skills (have balance and control while riding, be comfortable with braking and bike/ body separation). Wheel lift experience is not necessary. 10% of ticket sales is donated to WMMBA (West Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance). WMBBA builds and maintains our awesome trails, and advocates for trails and the sport. ABOUT THE LOCATION: The clinic will be held at the Grand Rapids Bike Park in Grand Rapids.
