Hello Portland! Very sad day today, our newly adopted husky girl yanked the leash out of her papa's hands and basically took off from Petty Grove Park in SW! She is shy and skittish as we just adopted her through a sled dog rehoming organization. **Please do not chase or call to her.** **If you see her, please contact Trey at ** She ran down Harrison and likely to South Waterfront from that point but no one was fast enough to catch her. She has got her **bright ORANGE Ruffwear harness** on and she should have a **magenta/pink color least attached to her.** Her name is Oatly and she is a **35 pound, medium sized Husky with medium to long length fur.** We have posted in the NextDoor app, the Portland subreddit, multiple Facebook groups, and Pawboost. She is also registered as a lost dog with the Multnomah County Animal Services and the Portland PD non-emergency is aware. Right now, we are trying to get the word out so that we can hopefully get a sighting and then start combing that area as well as putting up signs and handing out flyers. Her previous adopters has said that she has ran from them in Vancover, WA. too, but she came back within a week on her own so she is pretty smart. Things are a little bit different here in Downtown area, but with this information, we're hoping to raise awareness in the immediate area too! Thank you!
