Summerize Roof Mounted Evap Cooler

Want an experienced person to summerize my second story roof mounted evaporative (swamp) cooler during may ane winterize it in October. Can do it each year. Prefer someone experienced in the removal and installation of a new replacement cooler if not this year, then likely next year. I have the ladder to the first story, then walk up to the second. Bottom of cooler needs to have a coating of tar sealer applied ( 3" brush).
