Description

I've been producing music for decades and have built out a really cool basement studio. I want to increase my portfolio of music that I've engineered, so that's where you come in. Now that I'm fully vaccinated (and many more of us are getting there too) I want to collaborate with some of the other talented musicians of Denver. I lean towards the analog / retro vibe of things, with LOTS of tube & tape & transformer-heavy gear. I've spent a lot of time restoring 70s & 80s studio equipment because there are some sweet gooey tones in there. If you want uber-polished auto-tuned vocals and pristine digital production, I can do that, but it's not my go-to sound, you know? I have a drum kit, bass amp, several all-tube guitar amps (Mesa, Ampeg & Fender), about 20 mics of all types, an army of pedals, spring reverbs, 1073s, API preamps, a vintage Sound Workshop board, a fat LA-2A, an 1176, an actual echo chamber, a vintage Fender Rhodes, a piano, and a nice full library of synths, tons of plugins yadda yadda yadda. Everything is wired up to record quickly. I can do straight to digital, all analog tape, or a combination of the two for the best of both worlds. So if you have some cool songs that need a boost, bring them to me. I'll work with your budget and make it affordable for you. If you need a part played in there (keys, cello, bass, whatever) I'm happy to provide those too. It's a small room, so no 12-piece orchestras and brass bands, but for a 3-4 piece group, I got you. Singer / songwriter stuff? No problem. Got a backing track already but just want nice vocals? Easily done. Computer wise, I'm on Pro Tools, with a mac and UAD Apollo converters. Shoot me an email and let's talk!
