Patient Care Heroes is looking virtual volunteers to help Dr. Kellie Lease Stecher, MD develop and execute an action plan to address mental health/wellness & burnout among healthcare workers. In search of any interest parties: professional or student. Our ideal volunteers would college & post graduate students who are willing to commit to a 1 year term starting June 1st and are interested in serving on 1 of 4 committees: executive committee, branding/awareness committee, fundraising committee, & lobbying/ advocacy committee. Meetings will happen via Zoom, schedule TBA. Executive Committee: will work closely with Dr. Kellie to oversee & organize all operations of Patient Care Heroes Branding/Awareness Committee: will develop our branding, messaging and social media presence. Volunteers good for this committee will be content creators, graphic designers, digital marketers, software developer and like minded individuals Fundraising Committee: Any persons who have experience with grant writing, digital fundraising campaigns or interest in philanthropy. Lobbying/Advocacy Committee: persons with personal understanding of mental health issues, persons passionate about addressing mental health in healthcare, persons interested in law and/ or political science. Dr. Kellie is extremely passionate about addressing mental health in healthcare and she kno0ws firsthand how tremendous the problem is in the United States- but she needs help. To see real results and provide resources to healthcare workers in need, Dr. Kellie needs your help. We are open to any suggestions on how to attract the right volunteers.
