Rehoming Sweet Boxer Mix

We are looking for a forever home for our 3 year old boxer mix. He is the sweetest boy. He is about 45lbs. He is potty trained, knows how to sit, stay, shake, roll over. He is very clean and hates being dirty. He is leash trained and kennel trained. He has free roam of the house during the day and sleeps in his bed all night. We live in an apartment and his anxiety is a little high. He is scared of trash bags, tree bark and other dogs. He needs a home without other pets. He is not very hyper and does not require a lot of activity. He is used to about 2 miles of walking a day but he prefers to stay indoors. He loves children and babies and is so gentle and sweet. He is protective of his family. This is also not ideal for apartment living as people interpret it incorrectly. People also do not respect boundaries in an apartment complex and we don’t want any issues. We have contacted several dog trainers and they said his socialization issues are mild and would improve with training. Unfortunately at this time we do not have the money to invest in training at this time. He is literally the best dog inside the house and it is a hard decision to make.
