Welcome Jazz/Blues Horn Players

We just got a basic rhythm section together (bass, drums and 2 guitars) and we booked space at Hindsight Rehearsal Studios for afternoon of May 8th. If there are any horn players out there we'd love to have you join us for this one-time jam that could evolve into a regular once per month event. We are an experienced group of players (amateur and semi-pro bands since 1970's to present) seeking players of complementary experience for occasional jams, covering jazz and blues standards mainly from the Real Book. This is not a paying gig, and not likely to evolve into public performances; just for fun to keep our chops up. In fact, we usually split the studio fee among 4-5 players, so it's quite affordable. Once we get up and running again, we look to jam at least 1-time per month, perhaps more. At this time, we are mainly just short of horn players. Interested players please tell us a little about your experience level and musical preferences.
