Gina Berschneider, Inc. is a custom, high-end upholstery workroom and furniture manufacturer based in Gardena, California. We have continued to grow through the COVID-19 pandemic and are in need of [a hands-on problem solver who is not afraid to “get his/her hands dirty” and take charge managing the operation of our office]. Position Summary The person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, offices, and the grounds. We need someone who can come in and re-establish, and then maintain, order within the production area. We are looking for someone who wants to be with us for the long term and build their career with us. Schedule:  7:30am to 4pm  40 hours weekly with some OT Compensation & Benefits:  Hourly Pay: $15.00/hour to start  Paid vacation  Paid holidays  Paid sick days  Health insurance  Life insurance Responsibilities:  Clean building floors by sweeping and/or mopping (as necessary)  Gather and empty trash  Service, clean, and supply restrooms  Replenish supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties  Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs  Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks  Assist with acceptance and intake of deliveries (e.g., fabric rolls, furniture frames, items to be reupholstered)  Follow CDC guidelines and company guidelines for COVID sanitization and disinfection of surfaces  Maintaining compliance for the warehouse (OSHA & CA Law requirements)  Ad-hoc projects/tasks requested by management Other Characteristics:  Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)  Self-starter with a positive attitude who is proactive  Willingness to pitch in where needed and assist with miscellaneous requests  Able to lift, push, pull objects weighing 50 lbs or more with or without assistance  Must be able to use step and folding ladders.
