Everything we do is evidence-led, radically transparent, always enriching.  Position Description We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our team at our Wilton farm. The Operations Unit is responsible for the safe and consistent incubation, growth, harvest, and storage of produce that meets the needs of our customer base. Consistent with Sensei’s goals of continuous learnings and improvement, members of the Operations unit will practice active observation and reflection on all segments of the growing process. The Operations Associate should have knowledge in: Life cycle and differentiation of plants (seed to harvest) Basic hygiene and sanitation Basic food safety and recall tracking Measuring and observation for basic application Bacterial life cycle and prevention of pathogen contamination Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) techniques Food handling practices that minimize contamination and preserve product condition The Operations Associate will report to the Operations Manager. Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday Responsibilities Seeding, transplanting, and harvesting System Operations Facility Maintenance Packing/Handling Other duties as required or requested by supervisors Requirements Ability to obtain all licenses/certifications associated with assigned equipment Negative TB Test Preferred Skills, Abilities Bilingual in Spanish General knowledge of the use of scientific procedures in an applied setting Horticultural/Agriculture experience
