Bass Player Looking For Bandmates

Description

Fit 55 y/o bass player/songwriter starting a band for recording original music and playing live. Some covers are okay (and probably essential), but I'm not interested in playing in a typical 70's-80's Classic Rock/Country cover band. Here are options that appeal to me. 1. Southern-Fried Funk/Motown- The Meters, James Brown, Otis Redding, Roots Reggae, Black Crowes, etc. 2. Hard Rock/Punk Rock- The Cult, Jet, Smithereens, The Hives, Sex Pistols, The Descendants, etc. 3. 70's New Wave- Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Blondie, Talking Heads, etc 4. Stoner/Psychedelic Metal- This genre is new to me, but I've really been enjoying Camel Driver, Elder, King Buffalo, and other similar bands. Let me know what you play, and which of these options appeal to you. I have an air-conditioned garage that's ready to be converted into a space for Saturday or Sunday afternoon rehearsals. I'll even buy/set up a cheap drum kit for the right drummer. I don't care how old you are as long as you're serious and stable. Nothing at all against tokers or casual drinkers, but I don't want anything to interfere with rehearsing, so it'll be best to do that on your own time. Sorry, but NO EMAILS. Text Preferred. four05-four12-111five
