Anyone around Kingston want to do some 'Post-Rock' style jamming?

Description

I'm talking about instrumental rock that's more about grooves than solos. The less melodramatic side of the 'Post-Rock' genre. Here's a youTube playlist of examples of the style I mean: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsmMln8g_BD93uY4kDZZ-boljq7SQ2wNq If you've never heard of these bands, that's cool. It's really not that far from 60s instrumental soul (Booker T) or surf (with other beats). The style could take any number of directions, I just don't want to have a 12-bar blues jam, or play covers that try to sound like the original recording. Guitar is my main instrument, but I could do the bass or the keyboards. People who double on multiple instruments would be cool for this also. If you're a drummer - check it out. There's space for creative drumming in this kind of stuff. Not looking to audition people for some serious project here. Just want to find like-minded people to have drinks (or whatever) and do something creative. If some magic happens, we might record it.
