Henderson Chevrolet is seeking a Transmission Technician - APPRENTICE. This is a full-time hourly position within our Service Department. Our family-owned dealership offers benefits, including medical, dental, vision and 401k... and was voted a Top Workplace.
• Earn while you learn as a transmission apprentice.
• Past mechanical or automotive work / automotive trade school required (minimum of 1 year).
• Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm and some Saturdays.
• Must have valid Nevada driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
In our apprentice program you can expect to learn:
- Diagnosis of transmissions, remove and replace assemblies, teardown and inspection, reassembly and air test clutches.
- Manual transmission clutch repairs, input/ output shaft repairs.
- Differential diagnosis, set up and pattern checks.
- 4WD/ Transfer case diagnosis and overhaul.
