Earn $15.75 per hour at this full-time, temp-to-hire position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Description:Perform semi-skilled installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps and associated equipment used in water distribution systems or wastewater collection systems using hand and power toolsOperate and perform routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment, i.e. trucks, digging and trenching equipment, in accordance with company procedures and operating standardsLoad and unload various equipment, chemicals and supplies at worksites and storage areasOperate medium construction equipment under the supervision of a qualified operatorPerform grounds keeping and custodial work as assignedResolve routine problems and notify management of issues outside scope of responsibilityReads meters as neededUpdate and maintain documentation of work activities, including closing work orders as needed in the systemPerform other duties or special projects as requestedRequirements:High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)Must have valid U.S. Driver’s LicenseMechanical and/or electrical experience is preferredCandidate will be encouraged to successfully pass either a Water or Wastewater license per the NCDEQ UtilityTechnician Licensing Requirements and Career Progression ScheduleMust be available to work overtime and participate in a on-call rotating scheduleMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAdhere to all safety and security operating policies, procedures, practices and standards to ensure a safe working environmentMay be subject to extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid conditions, mechanical, electrical, gas exposure hazards, fumes, dusts, mists, gases and/or poor ventilation atmospheric conditionsContact Information:CareersUSA - National Accounts E-mail: Please submit your resume through this posting
