Part-time weekend help wanted at a busy, never-boring flea market at the State Fairgrounds. We are looking for personable and enthusiastic individuals with a customer-focused attitude to join our team. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks, mostly on the grounds. You will not be bored! The position is part-time on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and the hours can range from 5:45 am – 6:00 pm, with some flexibility available. Starting rate is $13/hour with room to grow. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure good customer relations, including promoting a positive, helpful and friendly environment • Assist manager with general tasks as needed, including putting out signage, moving racks, monitoring traffic, directing vendors, answering inquiries and helping ensure smooth operations. • Manage vendor requests for spaces, accurately track mapping and payments • Monitor the grounds with polite but firm enforcement of rules and regulations • Conduct opening/closing procedures Successful candidate will be active and willing to work outside.
