SUMMARY The Shipping and Receiving role is responsible for an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs the following duties, but not limited to: • Pulls and processes orders, logging items as required; • Accurately restocks incoming items, logging items as required; • Checks all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy; • Demonstrates commitment to all safety standards at all times; • Performs inventory control checks; • Tracks invoices & inventory of wine club boxes; • Processes international shipping; • Responsible for wine club & wine tasting room shipping; • Works cooperatively with team members and supervisors; • Uses equipment properly and maintains equipment as needed; • Operates a forklift, as needed; • Keeps neat and orderly records of all incoming and outgoing orders; • Keeps the warehouse clean and organized; • Reports any order discrepancies or issues to management ASAP; • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area; • Provides back up support to bottling line as needed; • Works closely and provides guidance to temporary as needed; • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
