Shift Available: 7am – 3:30pm, Full-Time Responsibilities: The maintenance assistant will work closely with the maintenance director to complete preventive maintenance tasks and ensure the community is safe and attractive. Routine tasks will be expected to help maintain the facility, including: mowing the lawn, maintaining sidewalks and parking areas, shoveling snow, trash/recyclables removal, equipment servicing and apartment refurbishing. Qualifications: An ideal candidate will bring compassion and desire to work with the elderly. Relevant work experience (1+ years) is preferred, and the candidate must know how to use power tools, lawn equipment and snow-removal equipment. The candidate must have the ability to repair minor plumbing, carpentry and electrical problems properly.
