We are in need of Packaging Operators for a popular cannabis brand. This an opportunity to jump into cannabis with no experience necessary. Packaging employees are responsible for the production and/or packaging and labeling of a variety of cannabis products. Requirements: Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions Ability to work in a group setting Ability to use a scale Effectively communicate information and respond to questions Possess basic mathematical skills Perform basic visual quality inspections on products Maintain the production pace of other team members Able to arrive to work on time and have good attendance Responsibilities and Duties: All aspects of production work, primarily packing, labeling, and gramming cannabis products Scaling product to requested measurements Daily compliance with company and OLCC policies and procedures Attention to accuracy and quality of product Work quickly and efficiently to meet production goals Following established production procedures Preparing production areas for daily use before production begins for the next shift and for the next day Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations including end of shift clean up and sanitizing Follow all COVID related policies, wear a mask at all times, and remain socially distant Perform related duties as required by supervisor Qualifications: Able to perform repetitive tasks with a positive attitude Work well with direction and able to ask questions Can work well independently and in group settings Amazing attention to detail and able to point out discrepancies Commitment to great attendance Basic knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis is helpful but not required Valid OLCC permit and 21+ years of age Reliable transportation 8-4:30pm - Monday - Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.50 per hour
