We are looking for an assistant sign installer – experience with the following preferred but can train the right person: - Installation of illuminated signs, channel letters, monuments, pylons, electronic message centers (EMC’s), architectural signage. - Servicing signs- trouble shooting electrical signs, changing ballast, power supplies, and transformers. Replacing neon, LED’s, acrylic and flex faces, etc. - Installing vinyl, removal of old vinyl, storefront, pylon, and monument installations. - Installing non-electrical signs such as dimensional stud mounted letters, flat panels, banners, etc. Requirements: · Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on each job site as needed. · Ability to safely operate booms and lift equipment on a daily basis (Comfortable with heights and small spaces) · Ability to use all power tools needed to fulfill daily tasks. · Restock and maintain parts and inventory on service truck as needed. · Must have a valid Driver's License - Clean driving record with No Major Moving Violations within 5 years. -Commercial Driver’s license helpful, must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card and preferably have desire to get CDL. · Ability to clearly communicate service/repairs performed, filling out proper paperwork and communication to Coordinator and Manager on a daily basis. · Good work ethic and able to work well with others. Also a self-starter and capable of working solo without direct supervision. - Ability to pass private sector and governmental background checks and be able to enter military/government installations and school campuses -We work in NH, VT, ME, MA, CT, must be willing to travel. Occasional overnight work. -Ability to work overtime · Ability to physically lift and move without restrictions · Ability to work at heights in excess of 75 feet, and lift 50 or more pounds · General knowledge of tools, measurement and equipment -pay $15-$20/hr DOE, EO employer.
