We are a relatively small, well-respected construction firm that strives for quality work, and to have fun while doing it. Our projects range from additions to entire house remodels or new construction, many of which is considered "high end" or "luxury". A Project Facilitator in our company assists the Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and runs smoothly. He or she facilitates the work in the field and is the bridge between the Project Manager, our subcontractors and employees. This person needs to be an organized, detail-oriented individual who some knowledge of construction and understands the hustle it takes to keep jobs and people on track. The ideal candidate has strong planning, multi-tasking and time management skills, is resourceful and able to problem-solve. Valid driver's license with clean record required. (Translation: you will be out and about and not chained to a desk all day.) Every day will be different and your challenges (and there will be many) and tasks will vary. You will work closely with the Project Manager and assist on tasks such as the following: • Writing job specifications and/or have deep understanding of project scope and details • Hub of communication: receive, retain and relay information you receive to our proiect team. • Keep clients and project team informed of changes to budget, schedule, scope, etc. • Gather estimates and timelines from subcontractors • Gathering materials and schedule deliveries • Blueprint reading and material takeoffs • Permits • Identifying and keeping track of changes to scope • Draft and maintain schedule (with updates) • Pre-construction and regular meetings with subcontractors • Meeting notes • Check quality of work and that scope is being followed on site • Punch list • Project close out • Help oversee safety on site • Billing We look forward to hearing from you!
