I agreed to watch someone’s bearded dragon for 3 months, but it has been longer than 3 months now and this person has completely ghosted me even after messaging them that I can no longer continue watching their pet. I told them that if they did not respond in 2 days, I would start the process to rehome and they have not responded. Therefore, I will be rehoming her. She is around 5 years old. She is in a 40 gallon breeder tank and will come with a lot of reptile equipment that her previous owner left with me. I can give more details of everything she will come with. Just PM me for details. I do believe that the dragon is showing signs of MBD. Her tail has crinks in it (she had this when she was brought to me), which is an early sign. However, it is very early and she seems to still be able to get around fine. I feel that if she can go ahead and get the right husbandry set up, she will be fine. The current uvb bulb that her owner had is not sufficient and she will need to be switched to a tube uvb bulb. It would also be good for her to get a vet checkup and for the new owner to ask the vets opinion on her having MBD. I am asking a rehome fee of $200 to cover the cost of all the supplies that will come with her and to ensure she will be going to someone that will make sure she gets proper uvb lighting and a vet check.
