Summary: The Receiving Inventory Specialist collaborates with the Purchasing Manager and product management department and plant manufacturing to replenish stocking products, forecast, performs cycle counts, investigates problems with missing products, and follows up with vendors regarding deliveries. This position is broad based and will include a variety of assignments to ensure that sales orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion. This person must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. This person will also perform special projects and other tasks as needed as well as help with customer service as work load dictates. Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Help Purchasing Manager with special projects and other tasks as need, and schedule product service and install work. Monitoring high profile sales orders to ensure on-time delivery Maintaining records on current and prior orders Performs cycle counts on all products. Ensure that material received for delivery matches shipping documents and that the products are in good condition. Facilitating disposition of discontinued inventory Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and crouching. The employee will be required to work both inside and outside in extremes of cold, heat and humidity, depending on the season and location.
