Field assistant need to assist with engineering drilling The position will involve working on a drill rig and other tasks as assigned. This work generally involves working outdoors year round and generally includes 40 hours per week but the actual hours will vary according to the available work, weather and other factors. Some of the specific work to be performed includes: Time is generally paid from portal to portal, meaning from when you leave your house to go to the first job in the morning, to the time you return home at the end of the day. We pay reimbursement for miles and tolls while travelling for work. Training will be provided as necessary. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. without medical restriction. Must have working vehicle for travelling to and from project sites. Work is generally outdoors and the applicant must provide their own coats, gloves and steel toed shoes. We will provide hard hats and other necessary safety equipment as required.
