**URGENTLY SEEKING MAINTENANCE MECHANICS FOR GRAVEYARD SHIFT** Job Description: Maintenance Mechanic, must be skilled to assemble, maintain and repair machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machinery, process and mechanical systems. Maintenance Mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Job Duties: • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing scheduled, non-scheduled, and preventive maintenance requirements on electric motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, process systems and production machines.; This is accomplished utilizing in-house training, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; to change over, repair, and install equipment. • Consistently follows work schedule in a timely manner with minimal absence, tardy, or late lunch break issues. • Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System, CMMS, to implement and record PM and Non-PM work. Also uses CMMS for Work Requests on work issues found during daily work. Interfaces to CMMS with Tablets and desktop. • Constantly monitors work areas and equipment while moving between tasks and notes issues found to Work Requests or written notes to Maintenance Management. • Responds promptly to calls for service and professionally interacts with the requester to understand the issue. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments. • Completes work assignments using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. • Motivated to complete work assignments with minimal supervision and the ability to stay productive by performing Maintenance related work between assignments. • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. • Maintains technical knowledge by on-job work training with coworkers, in-house training sessions, attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Consistent in logging of work and reporting of issues. Skills/Qualifications: • Minimum two years on job industrial maintenance experience relatable to the Bottling Industry or certification of Industrial Maintenance training of at least one year. • Ability to use tablets, computers, and Human Machine Interface screens to accomplish assignments. • Working knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, 3-phase electrical and other systems and their components. Knowledge of VFD, PLC, and ASI a plus. Knowledge of operation and repairs of machinery specific to the Bottling Industry a plus. • Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers) and multimeter for testing fuses and basic voltage issues. • Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc. • A strong commitment to all health and food safety guidelines · Excellent communication skills. • Problem-solving ability • Technical understanding • Attention to detail • Good physical strength and stamina • High school diploma is preferred Physical Abilities: • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to occasionally carry, push, pull loads of 50 lbs. • Ability to occasionally bend, reach, squat, and stretch
