Job Skills / Requirements Overall cleaning and maintenance of designated building space. Essential job duties include cleaning, dusting, cleaning floors, emptying trash, cleaning windows/blinds, sanitizing and replenishing restroom and kitchen/break room products (e.g., soap, paper products, etc.). Responsible for the care and repair of company-owned property (e.g., vacuums and other products used on-the-job). Performs additional miscellaneous duties as required by the client and/or management. Skills of the General Cleaner: • Work well with others: coworkers and clients. • Exhibit professionalism and be courteous at all times. • Follow company policies. • Ability to follow instructions accurately. • Must be dependable, self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the General Cleaner: • Dust high and low surfaces (above shoulder height). • Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, and restores dispensers with soap and paper products. • Removes trash, relines trash containers, cleans receptacles if required and takes trash to dumpster. • Dust mop and damp mops floors, vacuum, shampoo carpeted floors. • Cleans additional rooms as requested (e.g., after special event or meeting). • Clean refrigerators and other areas as instructed by manager.
