Major Hospital in the Bronx Has Immediate Opening for Qualified Maintenance Mechanic • Long-Term Temporary Position • Permanent Potential for Outstanding Candidate • Salary Commensurate with Experience • 8a – 4:30p • Monday – Friday Job Duties: • Assemble and install new equipment • Inspect machines and conduct scheduled testing • Monitor signs of malfunctions and perform troubleshooting • Identify and replace damaged and worn machine parts • Keep machinery and workplace in clean and tidy Requirements: • Associates degree - mechanical electrical or engineering preferred • Ability to walk, stand and lift heavy objects throughout day • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
