Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for feeding and bagging garments or linen. An example of duties includes but are not limited to: •Responsible for staging loads for the washers and dryers. •Responsible for washing under correct formulas and correct weights. •Responsible for staging loads and having empty slings available for dryfold for the washers and dryers •Inspection - check for stains, repairs and discards. •Fold and feed gowns into the machine •Place folded gowns individually into gown bags. •Place gowns in counts of 50 and then place then into Bio bags. •Tag Bio bags with color coded tags with initials or assigned number QUALIFICATIONS •Basic reading, writing, and math skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. •Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required. •Background and drug checks will be conducted. WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds. Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
