Join Waterworks Museum Staff live at the museum for a fun look at how pumps and rockets are both engineered with pressure.
We’ll be taking a look at some of the science behind how pressure was used in the Waterworks’ steam engines and how pressure is used in Rocket Ships today. Then, we’ll be making Balloon Rockets and paper rocket launchers and comparing how pressure is used in each case. This program is recommended for ages 7-12.
Participants may be accompanied by up to two adults at no additional charge. All visitors to the museum over 2 years of age must wear a face covering for the entire duration of their visit.
