Join Waterworks Museum education staff live at the museum as we explore different filter media and make our own water filters. After reviewing several different filter media, participants will work to build a water filter that can produce the largest amount of clean water possible in 30 seconds. Then, we will discuss some modern methods of cleaning and disinfecting water both in the Boston waterworks system and around the world. This program is recommended for ages 7-12. All participants may be accompanied by up to two adults at no additional charge. All visitors to the museum over two years of age must wear a face covering for the entire duration of their visit.
