Delivery Driver (CDL)/Team Lead (Greensboro) We are seeking reliable, experienced drivers for LOCAL jobs that allow you to be HOME EVERY NIGHT & OFF WEEKENDS! Pella, an innovative, dynamic, FAST GROWING company, is now looking for Class B CDL Drivers to service our customers in North Carolina. Pella provides a fast paced, fun, and respectful work environment. The Delivery Driver will ensure that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition while providing superior customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivery windows, doors, and other items as part of a 2-man team. Verify loads for quality and completeness Ensure that orders are loaded safely and in a manner that will prevent damage in transit Ensure that appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each load Drive truck over established route to deliver Pella product to jobsites and service storage warehouses Collects money for COD orders Perform daily inspection of assigned company vehicle and document in accordance with DOT requirements Ensure that assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentable. Interact with Material and Warehouse Coordinators to resolve problems when needed. Ensuring our Pella customers satisfaction Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: A clean driving record is REQUIRED Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable with good communication skills for direct customer contact. Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100+ lbs.) for customer deliveries throughout the day. Must be able to comply with the DOT hours of service regulations. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience as a Delivery Driver in a similar position preferred. Some college is preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A CDL “B” license, with air brake endorsements, is required.
