Let's go hiking! Spring is here and nature is calling. Pop your Benadryl and join us for a relaxing hike at the beautiful Lake Wintergreen trail in New Haven's, West Rock Ridge Park! Friendly dogs are welcome! This will be an easy to moderate hike lasting 1-1.5hrs (easy breathing). We recommend that you bring bug spray, and water. The trail is mostly shaded but sunscreen is always a must. We request that masks be worn (over mouth and nose) at times that you expect to be within 6ft of someone who is not in your household or covid unit. Being vaccinated is not an exception. This is a great Kayaking spot. If you have a kayak, bring it for after the hike! As always, feel free to approach anyone there. Come expecting to safely meet many new people.
