The first annual Poppy Picnic invites the Watertown community to honor our Veterans. We invite you to this free community event where we will be honoring the heroes that served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Learn about... Green Urb Gardens will be unveiling the design for our future veterans memorial garden and have the opportunity to vote on it's name!  Watertown Veterans Services, VFW 1105 and the PVT Shutt Detachment will be teaming up to bury a time capsule under the memorial garden. Learn how you can add something to the time capsule! Do you have a loved one that served in the armed forces that you would like to honor? Find out more about our memorial bricks that will be added to our memorial garden.  Enjoy... There will be music provided by Allstar Entertainment.  Chillwagon will be selling frozen treats. Flex your art skills with a poppy themed kids craft! DonATE... What is a picnic without food!?  We have teamed up with two local eateries to donate a portion of their proceeds from the Poppy Picnic to go toward the PVT Shutt Detachment and VFW 1105 Scholarship funds.  Donohues Bar & Grill will donate 20% of all  gift cards bought in the month of May. Reference 'Poppy Picnic' when purchasing. Branch Line is offering a special grab'n'go dinner for our picnic goers! A portion of each meal will be donated to the scholarship fund.
