“Bach and His Cousin” – FWAGO workshop Dr. Linton Powell will present an in-person workshop/lecture about Bach and his noted cousin Johann Gottfried Walther, with emphasis on their relationship when they were at Weimar at the same time. The lecture will include performances of pieces for comparison where they used the same hymn tune. The hymn tunes would be ones used in several churches, not just in the Lutheran tradition. This workshop is practical and useful for various organists and denominations. Please join us!
