Have a picnic at Plant Chicago while enjoying an intimate live performance from Mariachi Cuatro Vientos and food from local restaurants.
We are excited to continue our Eating for 8 Billion series by inviting guests to our Firehouse for an exclusive picnic experience. What better way to discuss how we can make positive changes to our world through food than over a delicious, locally-sourced meal. We'll provide the handcrafted corundas, empanadas, and tamales, and an intimate live performance from Mariachi Cuatro Vientos. You bring a comfy blanket and other picnic goodies. And be sure to pair your goodies with delicious items from our Firehouse Market including Tuanis Chocolate Bars, Bee-utiful Bees Honey, Arize Kombucha, Kombuchade and more locally produced goods.
Each ticket includes your personal area in our Firehouse garden (complete with chickens!), your choice of a corunda, empanada, and tamale, and an exclusive 1 hour performance from Mariachi Quatros Vientos. We will have additional information and conversation starters to empower all of us to keep this important dialogue going.
Tickets are for a 1.5 hour picnic at Plant Chicago. We will have two time slots available: 11:00 - 12:30 and 12:30-2:00. Please arrive at your reserved time, and don't fret once your time is up! Plant Chicago's Firehouse is located across the street from Davis Square Park where your picnic can continue all day.
