Announcing: Water Safety Fest. This is a FUN EVENT with a SERIOUS PURPOSE! Let’s Protect Our Kids (and Families) From Injury & Drowning! Texans LOVE the water… right? We all love to be outside and that can be around pools, out on the boat at the lake, floating the river, playing at the water parks or heading to the coast to the beach… WHERE SAFETY IS CRITICAL! Get Ready For Some Fun! This is a fun and educational event for your whole family! We will be covering swim lessons, proper life vest fit, what to do if caught in a rip tide, assigning water watchers, CPR, safety fencing and more! Also, we’ll address the best thing to do in case of emergency and also, you’ll hear some of the true life stories that drive us all to want to put water safety into practice right away. At the same time, we want the kids to come out and have fun in the water so there will be lots of fun activities including the splash pad at Doubletree Ranch Park along with music and snacks.
