Description

UTA GRADUATION - COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING & PUBLIC AFFAIRS, DIVISION OF STUDENT SUCCESS, HONORS COLLEGE AND SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK GRADUATE EXPERIENCE We are working with Globe Life Field to make the commencement ceremonies as safe as possible for all those involved. As a participant and graduate of UTA we want to ensure your experience is positive and memorable. The upcoming UTA commencement ceremonies will be as contactless as possible. We will be issuing and using e-tickets throughout the event, social distancing for graduates and guests seating will be in place and there will be limited congregation of large crowds. Masks will be required throughout the commencement ceremony except in designated zones throughout the event. These zones will be clearly identified and managed as spaces you will be able to remove your masks for official photographs. The facilities will be cleaned thoroughly between each ceremony to ensure participants and guests are in clean environments. While handshaking is a traditional part of many commencement ceremonies, shaking hands with platform parties during the ceremony will not occur or be permitted. After graduates cross the stage and take their photos, we encourage them to return to their seat for the duration of the ceremony. Graduates will be released separate from guests, so have a plan to meet your guests outside the building. Ceremony time will be approximately 2 hours. GUEST TICKETS Tickets are required for entry into Globe Life Field. The week of April 28, each graduate will be able to select seats for their guests with a total of 10 tickets. There is no cost associated with guest tickets and the reselling of tickets is strictly prohibited by the University. Children under 36 inches tall do not need a ticket if they occupy a ticket holder’s lap. LIVE STREAMING For your guests who are unable to make it in person, live streaming will be available during the scheduled ceremony times through UTA’s commencement page.
